2017 was a beautiful vintage across all of our wines, Chardonnay included.

2017 was a picture-perfect growing season with abundant rainfall and a cold winter.  Budbreak was normal and the grapes were harvested in the first half of September; a little heat before picking resulted in added concentration. This is a powerful vintage with a deep red color.

The 2017 Beau Terre Merlot presents lovely aromas of black cherry and boysenberry fruit, with a hint of mocha.

The 2017 Origin has lovely aromas of ripe plum, black cherry and vanilla.  The broad entry has a big mouthful of berry jam, and the palate is full bodied and smooth, expressing the plums and cherry while adding a hint of mocha on the very drinkable finish. 

Our 2017 is comprised of 52% Grenache, 23% Carignane, 20% Syrah, and 5% Mourvedre.

Luscious aromas of freshly baked pastries and ripening pear are met by juicy acidity on the front of the palate, developing into notes of lemon meringue, brioche, and hints of oak spice, with a creamy finish.

This wine is easily paired with a variety of dishes from spicy Pad Thai to delicately poached halibut.

Both complex and alluring, this radiant Chardonnay opens up with aromas of pineapple, stone fruit and lime, as well as hints of white flowers and sweet French oak.

The Hill Family Estate 2018 Barrel Blend is put together with the help of Kyle Knox, a great surfer and wine professional who loved the idea of "being in the barrel" as both a wine term and a surfing term.  It's a very balanced and layered red with beautiful raspberry, currant and dark chocolate undertones.

Crafted with little malolactic influence and light oak makes this crisp multi-layered Chardonnay a wine that enhances food and holds its own on the patio.

The 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of black currant, black cherry, violets, vanilla and pie spice.  The palate is rich with flavors of blackberry, hazelnut, raspberry  and mocha.

In addition to the very fine and incredibly age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignons for which Kathryn Kennedy is known, they also make a great Sauvignon Blanc.

The deep ruby purple-hued Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard possesses sweet blueberry, raspberry, and forest floor notes, zesty acidity, elegance, and finesse, and a medium-bodied finish.
