2016 Turley 'Juvenile' Zinfandel, CA
The 2016 Zinfandel Juvenile, Turley's young-vine, entry-level wine, captures the freshness of the vintage in its bright, red-toned fruit. Hints of cedar, orange peel, spice and tobacco add layers of flavor nuance to this mid-weight, inviting Zinfandel. Drink it over the next few years. - Antonio Galloni
2014 The Paring, Red Blend, CA
Utterly fascinating nose mixing lifted black fruit, savory green herbs and dark notes of grilled bread, espresso and anise. Fills the palate with bright red fruit and black plum. A constant play between sweet and savory. Gentle and dusty tannins lead the way into an incredibly long and precise finish. Mulberry sweetness and a wonderful tension between tannic structure and bright acidity. Balanced and refined Paring Red. A study in elegance
2016 Turley, Cinsault 'Bechtholdt Vineyard' Lodi, CA
Partial carbonic maceration from Turley’s whole-cluster approach to fermentation gives this wine an exuberantly fresh, bright red fruit quality in the nose, with moderate tannins and a delicate, medium body. In the mid-palate, there is just enough underlying tannin to give fleshier, almost meaty sensations, although the feel remains soft and tender through a brightly fruited finish.
2014 The Paring, Sauvignon Blanc, CA
Classic lemon curd and lime zest aromas. Notes of grilled white peach and agave nectar. Dense and complete on the palate with a beautiful crisp pear-like texture. So satisfying. Finishes fresh with herbal complexity and hints of ripe green melon. Perfect white for the summer months
