2018 Jack Quinn 'Agave Rose' Cabernet Sauvignon, Rutherford   

The 2018 vintage is true to the overall style of the vintage, bold and built to last, but Benoit Touquette’s style has its fingerprints all over it. From a tiny vineyard on Zinfandel Lane planted by Jim Barbour back in 1999 the fruit is ripe and extracted with a supple and approachable quality. It’s fruity, almost voluptuous, but not too much so as those ripe black fruits are so well integrated with the grainy tannins and herby, spicy mouthfeel. Irresistible.
